Cupid is armed and dangerous in this age-old comedy about two couples in love with the wrong partners who head into the forest where Oberon and Titania (King and Queen of the faeries) are having a spat. Add Puck, Oberon’s head mischief-maker, who runs loose with a flower which causes people to fall in love. Throw in a gang preparing a play (one of whom is given a donkey’s head and Titania for a lover by Puck) and the complications become fantastically funny.
Opening November 6, this should prove to be another fantastic(k) rendition.
